In 1990, a spark ignited within the hearts of Seattle’s Malayalee Pentecostal community. This spark led to the birth of the India Full Gospel Fellowship (IFGF). Before the IFGF had a dedicated space, it was a challenge to organize Malayalee Pentecostal gatherings. The small number of believers in the Northwest primarily attended English services. As more Malayalees migrated to Washington, a longing grew to worship in their familiar tradition. During the 1980s, a small group began occasional worship meetings. In the 1990s, monthly Saturday evening meetings began in Seattle, yet the desire for a regular Sunday service persisted. This shared yearning solidified their resolve, leading to the formal establishment of the India Full Gospel Fellowship. Today, the India Full Gospel Fellowship thrives at 735 18th Avenue, Seattle. They hold a Sunday service at 10:30 AM, preceded by Sunday School at 9:30 AM and Bible Study at 10:00 AM. Saturday evenings at 7:00 PM are reserved for Intercessory Prayer. Additionally, they hold a Friday morning fasting prayer at 10:30 AM and a Saturday evening Bible study at 7:30 PM. Beyond their regular services, the IFGF fosters community through youth ministries and special events. They extend a warm welcome to all, inviting everyone to experience the love of Jesus Christ and find a sense of belonging within their vibrant community.
