“Here I am, Lord, we will do your will.” That’s how the story of Iglesia La Senda Antigua begins. This wasn’t in Dallas, but in Belleville New Jersey. Though we stand here in Dallas, let’s take a look at where it all began.
Back on Sunday May 18, 2003, pastors Miguel and Lilly Ortiz founded Iglesia La Senda Antigua. It started in their very own home. They answered a pastoral call. With faith and dedication, they started the church.
The church began with just 14 adults and 7 children. Souls were added to the fold. The kingdom of God grew. Today, Iglesia La Senda Antigua continues its mission. The pastors shepherd a beautiful congregation.
The original church is located at 171 Main St in Belleville New Jersey. Everyone is welcome there. The mission is clear. It is to reach souls for the kingdom of heaven. Iglesia La Senda Antigua offers refuge, healing, and liberation in Jesus Christ. Outside of Jesus, there is no salvation. In Him, we find what our souls need.
Iglesia La Senda Antigua aims to be a haven. It welcomes those seeking God. Church leaders and members are willing to help people understand His message. The unity makes the church feel like family. Whether learning about the Lord’s teachings or starting a spiritual journey, everyone has a place.
As a Pentecostal church, Iglesia La Senda Antigua is a home. It is for individuals who want to build a stronger relationship with God. They want to restore their faith. The church is committed to exalting the Lord. It is committed to making Him known to more people. Here, the family is forged by God’s love. It is strengthened by His word.
But that’s not all, Iglesia Pentecostal La Senda Antigua, has works in other countries such as Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Colombia. Also in Ecuador, India, Dominican Republic, and Cuba. Furthermore in Uruguay, Venezuela, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Haiti. As well as Argentina, Chile, Canada, and even Spain.
Remember the story of Iglesia La Senda Antigua. Think about its humble beginnings and its unwavering mission. As you continue your journey, carry the spirit of faith and community.
