The scent of incense hangs heavy in the air. Welcome to Iglesia Alianza Norte. This isn’t just a church. It’s a vibrant community a testament to faith and perseverance.

Iglesia Alianza Norte began as a dream a prayer whispered in 2011. Pastors from Iglesia Republica envisioned daughter churches across Quito. Forty people gathered for that first prayer meeting. Their faith was the foundation upon which this church was built.

From humble beginnings in a small tent on Calle Dalmau in Ponciano Alto the church rapidly grew. Members worked tirelessly. They cleaned cooked and even slept there to protect their space. Their collective effort transformed a simple tent into a temporary sanctuary. This spirit of dedication fueled their next challenge.

The acquisition of their own land in the Eden sector marked a significant milestone. A tabernacle served as their temporary home until 2017. That year saw the laying of the first stone of their current building. In March 2018 the doors of the current beautiful temple finally opened.

Iglesia Alianza Norte isn’t just about bricks and mortar. It’s about the people. Javier and Cecilia Silva have served as its primary pastors for nine years. Their dedication extends to many ministries including worship construction and discipleship. They are supported by other dedicated families like Gabriel and Adriana Mayorga whose ministry focuses on marriage and children. Santiago and Geovanna Escobar lead youth ministries. Augusto Pico leads the worship and arts ministry. Daniela Herrera directs the biblical academy.

Their mission is simple to form Christ in each person. Their vision is even bolder to be a holy church filled with the spirit and word of God making disciples and reaching the nations. This isn’t just about Sunday services. It’s about daily commitment a community dedicated to growth and service both online and in person. The story of Iglesia Alianza Norte is a powerful one. It speaks of faith dedication and the transformative power of community. This church isn’t merely a building. It is a living embodiment of its beliefs. It is a beacon of light in Quito.
