HOPE International Church Seattle started small. It began as a home group. The Holy Spirit moved many to accept Jesus. The house couldn’t contain everyone. They moved to the Green Lake Community Center then to Northgate. In 2015 God promised them a building. Six years later He kept His promise. They purchased a building from a Chinese church. They finally found their home in Seattle. Pastor Jirote Bongkotmart or JR leads the church. He’s passionate about faith. He wants everyone to grow strong in their belief in God. He wants people to love God’s word and each other. He desires to see them fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. Pastor JR and his wife Warinda have two daughters. The church is part of Hope of God churches. This began in Thailand in 1981. The vision spread across continents. These churches became Hope of God International or HGI. In 2009 it became Hope International Ministries HIM. They are in over 120 locations worldwide. They are diverse. People from many cultures worship and serve God together. They help each other fulfill the Great Commission by planting churches around the world. HOPE International Church Seattle is also part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel. This church is more than bricks and mortar. It’s a living community. It’s a place of spiritual growth. It’s a beacon of hope in Seattle. It’s a place where faith takes root and blossoms.
