Look closely and you’ll see the intricate carvings adorning its walls, each a testament to the craftsmanship of its time. The church’s construction was a grand affair. Two foundation stones were laid on April 22nd, 1891 by prominent figures in the Baptist community. These stones, inscribed with biblical verses and the names of the architect, George Baines, and builder, J. Scott, serve as a permanent reminder of the church’s origins. Step inside, and you’ll discover a sanctuary frozen in time.
