Sadly the original Botica del Ángel was forced to close. The widening of Avenida 9 de Julio brought its demise. But the spirit of the Botica couldn’t be contained. It was reborn. It moved to its current location in the Monserrat neighborhood.
Now a museum it preserves the legacy of Eduardo Bergara Leumann. It’s a living museum of Buenos Aires. A unique mix of art history and vibrant life. You can see the works of masters like Antonio Berni Guillermo Roux and Guillermo Kuitca. You will also find manuscripts by Alfonsina Storni. Even a dress belonging to Infanta Isabel.
