The church, led by Pastor Ryan Ralston, isn’t just about sermons and hymns. It’s about passionate commitment to Jesus Christ and His teachings. The Savannah Holy Church of God strives to provide relevant, Bible-based lessons. It aims to create a space for transformative encounters with God. The Holy Church of God welcomes everyone, inviting families to be part of its vibrant community. Its history dates back to around 1900. The church was organized by Elders I.S. Brooks, S.K. King, and H.S. Sanford. They established the church on 48th Street and MLK Jr. Blvd. The Savannah Church of God has seen many spiritual leaders over the years. Former pastors include Elders W.F. Steward, S.R. Green, R.C. Miller, E.D Lowery, Eskew Evans, James Batie (Interim), I.C. Turner, and Dennis G. Kidde. A significant milestone occurred in 2000. The church moved to its current location on Little Neck Road, entering Phase I of the new facility. Today, the Savannah Holy Church of God maintains a voluntary affiliation with the Church of God Movement in Anderson, Indiana. More than just a place of worship, the Holy Church of God is a pillar of faith and community in Savannah.
