From its humble beginnings in a front room. Holmcroft Church stands as a testament to faith and community. In 1984 two families the Wallis’ and the Adams’ found themselves without a spiritual home. They began meeting in David Wallis’ front room. Their gatherings marked the birth of Holmcroft Church. A Pentecostal Assembly in Fellowship with Assemblies of God. It thrived under the leadership of Pastors Barry Adams.

Holmcroft Church grew rapidly. The congregation moved from a front room to a village hall. Finally it found its current home. A purpose-built church off Bromley Common. This move itself was a testament to the church’s growth and God’s miraculous provision. Pastor Barry Adams sensed a call to broaden the church’s reach. He began praying for a more multicultural congregation.

A pivotal moment arrived in 2015. An Indian family joined the church. Their arrival proved to be a confirmation of God’s guidance. This sparked a significant transformation. More Indian families joined adding richness to the community. In early 2018 the Holmcroft Malayalam Pentecostal Church (HMPC) was formed. Starting as cottage meetings it blossomed into a thriving congregation. Today HMPC flourishes within Holmcroft Church. Services are translated into English. The church offers various ministries for all ages.

Holmcroft Church is more than just a building. It’s a vibrant community. A place of worship where people celebrate their faith. It embodies the spirit of inclusion and growth. Its journey reflects the power of prayer and unwavering faith. A journey from a small gathering in a front room to a multicultural sanctuary. This is the enduring legacy of Holmcroft Church. The story of a community united in their devotion to God. A place where people find solace support and a deep sense of belonging.
