HKBP Huria Tanjung Priok stands on Jalan Swasembada Timur. Its story is one of community and support. In 2022, HKBP Tanjung Priok showed its dedication. It collected offerings over four Sundays. These donations helped build three other HKBP churches. These were HKBP Poriaha, HKBP Kuala and HKBP Tasikmalaya. Before this, HKBP Tanjung Priok aided HKBP Sirau Resort.
Reverend Arthur Sitorus is a leader at HKBP Resort Tanjung Priok. He said that the church strives to renew itself. It recognizes its calling. The church believes it should be a blessing to the world. Providing financial aid is one way it realizes this vision. HKBP Tanjung Priok helps fellow churches. It sees them as part of the body of Christ.
HKBP Huria Tanjung Priok also launched a new service. It is called Lembaga Bantuan Hukum Maranatha HKBP Tg.Priok. This legal aid service helps church members and the public. It offers assistance with legal issues. The service also provides free legal consultation.
Dr. Marihot Simanjuntak is on the advisory board of LBH Maranatha. He asked for support from the congregation. He hopes the legal aid service will bless the community. It extends its services to non-members needing legal help.
The church celebrated the anniversary of Tabege Angklung. This is another service. Both celebrated their anniversaries together on the First Sunday of Advent.
