The Hill Country Bible Church Austin has been a beacon of faith in the Austin area for over 40 years. It all began in 1985 when 17 devoted people came together with a vision to create a church that would impact Austin and beyond. The church was initially hosted in an elementary school in 1986. The church outgrew its space and moved to a larger facility a few years later. In 1989, the Hill Country Bible Church brought in Tim Hawks as its Lead Pastor. His leadership and vision helped the church grow and reach more people. The church also launched the Association of Hill Country Churches in 1992. Their vision was to plant 10 churches in Austin in 20 years. They exceeded their goal and have planted 42 churches. The church remains dedicated to its mission and continues to expand, serving their community in many ways. Their dedication to spreading the Gospel and planting new churches has had a significant impact on the Austin community, as they have impacted countless people through their ministries and outreach programs. They are a testament to the power of faith and the transformative nature of community.
