Journey with me back to 1983. Herzliya Municipal Stadium first opened its gates. Imagine the roar of the crowd as the first football match kicked off. Herzliya Municipal Stadium has been the heart of football in Herzliya ever since. This stadium is much more than just a sporting venue. It’s a place where communities come together. It’s a symbol of unity and peace. In 2017, the stadium hosted the Peres Center for Peace Mini Mondial. Jewish and Arab children, united by their love of football, competed together. It was a powerful display of how sport can transcend cultural differences. The stadium is home to two football clubs, Maccabi Herzliya and Hapoel Herzliya. It boasts a seating capacity of 8,100. The lush green grass of the field has witnessed countless victories and defeats, joys and heartbreaks. In recent years, Herzliya Municipal Stadium has undergone renovations. The municipality worked hard to bring the stadium up to league standards. These improvements ensure that Herzliya Municipal Stadium will continue to be a central part of the community for generations to come.
