Hidden within Budapest’s 14th district lies Herminamező a neighborhood steeped in history. Its very name whispers a tale of a princess a daughter of Palatine Joseph.

The chapel a beautiful example of early romanticism was built in her memory. Franz Liszt’s mass for male choir premiered during its consecration in 1856.
