At 36 meters above Henderson Road, it proudly holds the title of Singapore’s highest pedestrian bridge. The bridge spans an impressive 274 meters. Its unique wave-like form is crafted from seven undulating curved steel ribs that alternately rise over and under the deck. These ribs create sheltered alcoves furnished with comfortable seating. These alcoves invite you to pause, relax, and soak in the breathtaking views. Notice the deck beneath your feet. It’s made of yellow balau wood, a durable and weather-resistant timber native to Southeast Asia. As dusk settles, the Henderson Waves transforms into a luminous spectacle. From 7 pm to 2 am daily, LED lights illuminate the wave-forms, casting a magical glow against the night sky. Imagine strolling along the bridge under the stars. The gentle curves of the structure seem to mimic the rhythm of your steps.
