Rising high above the rooftops, its silhouette a familiar sight for many Aarhus residents, stands the Hasle Vandtårn. A giant concrete mushroom, it’s a landmark in the city’s landscape, holding within its cylindrical belly, a vast reserve of water, ensuring that taps run in many homes. The Hasle Vandtårn, built in 1970, is the only one in Aarhus still in operation.
