Have you ever looked at a building and felt a sense of history? A sense of hope? That’s how I felt when I first saw Harvestime Church of God in Christ. The building may not be old, but the story of faith it holds is powerful. The church was founded in 2013 with a dream of bringing people closer to God and creating a community in Dallas around His teachings. It started small, with about sixty members meeting in hotels and other churches. But the church grew quickly. It moved into a temporary location at the Park Plaza Tower and then, in 2018, it found its permanent home in Rowlett, Texas, a gift for the growing community. The name “Harvest” represents the church’s commitment to spiritual growth and sharing the message of salvation. It is a place where people from all walks of life come together to worship God. Their mission now includes reaching out to the community through service, initiatives, youth events, and international missions. They strive to be a beacon of light, guiding people towards the transformative power of Jesus Christ. This church is a place of welcome, hope, and spiritual growth. Here the seeds of faith are planted and the harvest of blessings is reaped.
