Their dream a church of their own. Through a $65000 bond program and tireless effort they purchased land. They built a sanctuary. On Easter Sunday 1975 they held their first service. The church quickly outgrew its initial space. Leon Sanders became pastor in late 1975. In 1979 an expansion added classrooms and offices. This reflected the growing congregation. Under Pastor Frank Liedkie’s nearly 20-year tenure the church flourished. Spiritual growth soared. Resources increased. A remarkable achievement the church paid off its mortgage. Brian Grey became pastor in 2006. Major renovations further enhanced the church. These improvements were both inside and outside the building.
