Originally, the Handley Seventh Day Adventist Church served an English-speaking congregation. Records show it was active at least up until 2016. Something shifted. Now, the Handley Seventh Day Adventist Church, at 2717 Handley Drive, thrives as a vibrant Spanish-speaking congregation, known as Iglesia Adventista Hispana de Forest Hill. It officially reorganized on May 25, 2002. Pastor Carlos Valencia leads the flock of approximately 123 members. They gather for Sabbath School at 9:30 am, followed by the main worship service at 11 am. Prayer meetings fill the church with voices every Wednesday at 8 pm. If you happen to be in Fort Worth on a Saturday evening, just before sunset, you might witness the energy of their youth meeting.
