Max and Jens, friends for over 20 years, hatched this plan on New Year’s Eve 2019/2020, fueled by slivovitz and a crackling fire. The pandemic may have delayed their “Schwung”, leaving them in “Schwebe” for nearly two years. But they persevered. Schwung & Schwebe is designed for connection. A large communal table invites conversation. The open kitchen encourages interaction with the chefs. Two cozy, antique-filled rooms, the Salons 1920, offer intimate gatherings and event space. Six varieties of their own roasted coffee tempt your taste buds. A menu of cakes, hot and cold dishes, breakfast, and lunch specials satisfies any craving.
