Greater Shiloh Baptist Church has been a pillar of the Dallas community for over a century. Greater Shiloh Baptist Church was initially organized in 1911 by Reverend Hartford, with Carrie Daniels and Willie Mae King as founding members. They worshipped in a three-room house as their sanctuary. But the congregation grew, and in 1922 a new building was constructed, with Pastor S.G. Guster at the helm. In 1940, a new building was commissioned by Pastor C.D. Knight. The church stands as a testament to the resilient spirit of its congregation and the unwavering devotion of its pastors.
