Greater New Hope Outreach Center. A place where faith and community intertwine. This very building has witnessed decades of unwavering dedication to the well-being of the people in Oak Cliff. This community faced deep poverty. Yet, Greater New Hope Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Coy Brown and his wife Jean, stood as a beacon of hope for 40 years. Imagine the countless lives they touched from 1971 until their retirement in 2011. The Browns’ ministry wasn’t confined to the church walls. They were a constant presence, sharing in the joys and sorrows of their congregation. They celebrated births, offered solace in times of grief, and walked beside their community through every season. Even after stepping down, the Browns’ commitment to their community remained strong. Times were tough, but their faith never wavered, especially with the support of Mission:Dignity. Greater New Hope Outreach Center stands as a testament to the enduring power of faith, compassion, and community upliftment.
