Early roads like the St. Emmeramsweg crossed our settlements.
Traditions from the Bavarian settlement phases can be traced back to 814 in Harthausen. Bishop Adalbert came from the family of the Freising Bishop in Harthausen. He was Bishop in Freising from 1158 to 1183.
The Schwaige Möschenfeld was first mentioned in 819. It always followed the trends of the time. The documents show an early private church. Also a Gothic, a late Gothic church. Today it is the Baroque church of St. Ottilie from 1640. From the 15th century, the Schwaige Möschenfeld was an estate of the Count of Wittelsbach. Möschenfeld was administered by the Ebersberg Monastery. When the Jesuits appeared in Bavaria, Möschenfeld was transferred to this order.
Historical documents prove the existence of our settlement. In the hamlet of Keferloh, we see a largely original monument from the 12th century. Abbot Heinrich of the Schäftlarn Monastery built the church of St. Aegidius. On September 1, 1173, the Freising Bishop Adalbert consecrated it. The present building is still largely the same as the 12th-century building. The interior of the church also features frescoes from this construction period.
