Pastor Aramy Honore is the first pastor of Gospel Chapel Church of Evanston. His journey began far from here. He was first called to the Lord in Haiti at Pastor Omiel Pierre-Paul Church. There he met his wife Sister Valentine.
Life wasn’t always easy. The Lord blessed them through trials. Sister Valentine came to the United States in 1977. Pastor Honore followed in 1981.

The church grew. In 1985 Pastor Honore and his wife moved to a new home. The church moved with them. By 1987 the congregation needed more space. They moved to a rental facility.
This was only temporary. After a few months they were without a permanent location. The church went from place to place. During these times services were held in the pastor’s home. This lasted until 1993.
Finally in 1993 Gospel Chapel Church of Evanston found its own building. It was located at 1808 Church Street Evanston IL. Since then Pastor and Sister Honore have worked tirelessly. They preach the Word of God. They help those in need. They are an example of how to follow Jesus Christ.
