The year 2000. What images spring to mind? Y2K anxieties? The dawn of a new millennium? For Gateway Church, it marked a humble beginning. In a Grapevine Hilton hotel, a new chapter in faith was being written. Gateway Church wasn’t always the sprawling beacon of faith it is today. Its journey began in that hotel room, fueled by a vision of love for God and love for people. From those early days, the church experienced phenomenal growth. By 2003, the congregation had outgrown its temporary home and moved to Southlake Blvd. This growth culminated in the construction of a sprawling 64-acre property in 2010, a testament to the expanding community of believers. Today, Gateway Church stands as a testament to faith. It embodies the welcoming spirit of its founders, a place where thousands gather each week to connect with God and each other. The church’s history is a reminder that even the grandest structures begin with a single step of faith.
