Founded in 1977 the Garland Faith Community SDA Church stands before you. Forty-four dedicated individuals from diverse backgrounds united to establish this Seventh-day Adventist Church. They hailed from the United States Mexico the Caribbean and Asia. Guided by the Holy Spirit they sought to create a spiritual home in Garland.
Today this church is a vibrant reflection of its origins. It represents over 32 countries demonstrating a truly global community of faith. A remarkable aspect of this church is its commitment to education. In 2008 the Garland Christian Adventist School GCAS opened its doors. Pastor Kee Bong Kim played a vital role in its establishment. The school provides affordable Christian education. It focuses on spiritual mental social and physical development. Students strive for excellence in academics and community service. GCAS’s vision is to show the love of Jesus and inspire others to do the same.
The church is not just a place of worship. It’s a center for community involvement. Numerous volunteer ministries offer opportunities for growth and service. Whether you join community service Pathfinders Club or Adventist Youth you’ll find a place to serve and grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
