Chris Taliaferro have been advocating for a larger, permanent location. One possibility was a portion of the former U.S. Bank building at 6700 W. North Avenue. This could give the library a permanent and more fitting home. Even though the Galewood-Mont Clare Library is temporarily closed, the spirit of the library lives on.
