“Did you know this gallery has a twin?” I ask, gesturing towards the Galerie Vieceli. “Well, not exactly a twin, but a sister gallery all the way in sunny Cannes!” Galerie Vieceli, right here in Paris, is a bit like a hidden gem. It’s tucked away in the heart of the city, yet steeped in the world of art. While the gallery itself isn’t ancient, it holds a unique distinction. It sadly closed its doors in Paris in late 2024. But don’t despair! The spirit of Galerie Vieceli lives on at its sister location in Cannes. They continue to champion a diverse group of artists, from sculptors to painters. So, while we can’t step inside today, remember that art transcends physical boundaries. And who knows, maybe one day, Galerie Vieceli will grace Paris with its presence once more.
