“Have you ever wondered where the future of art meets the heart of Paris?” That future may very well be at Galerie Iham. It is located at 46 Boulevard Henri IV. Galerie Iham stands as a testament to innovation. It bridges the gap between cultures through art.

Galerie Iham is not just a space. It is where people seek artwork. They transform themselves. Then, they re-enter the world. This Parisian gallery has carved a niche. It proudly claims to be the first NFT-only gallery in Europe. Since its founding in May 2021, Galerie Iham has been a beacon. It shines a light on high-energy group and solo shows.

The story of Galerie Iham began with Mr Bang. He studied the Paris art market in the late 90s. He became an art consultant in Seoul. Mr Bang specialized in 20th-century European furniture. He pioneered introducing French furniture to Korea. To bridge these cultures, he opened Galerie Iham in 2019. The public could admire furniture and contemporary art here.

Always forward-thinking, Mr. Bang embraced the Metaverse in early 2021. He envisioned NFTs populating virtual spaces. He saw NFTs as an inevitable new art form. Thus, he launched IHAM NFT in June 2021. This marked Galerie Iham as France’s first NFT art gallery.

In May 2021, Jae Hyun OH joined as a curator. She is a Global Design graduate. Jae Hyun speaks English, French, and Korean. Her design projects include art, furniture, and spatial design. She was a perfect match for Galerie Iham.

Together, they researched and found artists. Mr. Misang, Yoyojin, and Mo Junseok helped build their first exhibition. Samsung sponsored them. They displayed the artworks on The Frame TVs. By June 2021, they were ready.

Galerie Iham has successfully run three NFT exhibitions. They adapted to the NFT market. They reached NFT-savvy audiences. The Korean NFT community supported them. They made Nakta’s Crypto Voxel available for their Maison de Noël exhibit.

One notable exhibition was “Punkism.” It ran from April 25 to May 7, 2022. It was the first CryptoPunks exhibition. Punk holders could let artists reinterpret their digital characters. Over 400 people attended the opening.

Galerie Iham also curated solo shows. These shows featured genre-defying artists like Foodmasku and YUYU. In March 2023, Galerie Iham presented “AI Transcendence.” Florencia S.M. Brück created it for the “I am…” exhibition. The artwork explores longevity and humanity. It uses AI and music by Anthony Earls.

Galerie Iham is more than a gallery. It is a cultural bridge. It is an innovative space. It embraces the future of art. It is a place where art transcends boundaries. It redefines our understanding of creativity.
