Galerie b2 was founded in 2005. It quickly became a unique fixture in Leipzig’s gallery scene. Its exhibitions are uncompromising. The gallery operates with a democratic and non-hierarchical structure. Artists have self-determined actions. This puts Galerie b2 at the intersection of off-space and commercial gallery.

Galerie b2 is part of the Spinnereigalleries. It is located at Spinnereistrasse 7 in Building 20. You can visit from Wednesday to Friday between 2 and 6 p.m. Saturdays are also an option from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are possible too.
The current director of Galerie b2 is Mona Barmeier. A number of talented artists contribute to the gallery. Christian Bär, Max Brück and Doris Frohnapfel are among them. Michael Hahn and Caroline Hake also exhibit here. Timo Hinze and Katharina Immekus enrich the gallery. Anna M. Kempe and Uta Koslik are also part of the group.
