Amidst the vibrant pulse of Parisian life, Galerie Anne Barrault stands as a testament to contemporary art. Galerie Anne Barrault opened its doors in 1999 in the Marais district. It has resided at its current location on Rue des Archives since 2013. Galerie Anne Barrault has championed young artists from the beginning. It has proudly hosted numerous debut solo exhibitions. Artists like Tiziana la Melia, Stéphanie Saadé, Guillaume Pinard, and Jochen Gerner all had their first solo shows at Galerie Anne Barrault. The gallery also represents established artists like Daniel Spoerri and Roland Topor. Galerie Anne Barrault’s commitment extends beyond the visual arts. Over the years, it has forged connections with diverse disciplines. Architect Yona Friedman exhibited at the gallery. Writer Pacôme Thiellement curated a show. Filmmaker Marie Losier had her first gallery exhibition there in 2020. In 2021, Galerie Anne Barrault showcased the work of emerging talent Neïla Czermak Ichti, born in 1996, in an exclusive solo exhibition. Many of the gallery’s artists have published books, enriching the literary landscape. The fanzine “Pleased to meet you” dedicated its tenth edition to Marie Losier. Neïla Czermak Ichti released her first monograph alongside her 2021 solo show. Galerie Anne Barrault also collaborates with independent curators. Franck Balland curated a Tiziana la Melia exhibition in 2017. Curator Marie de Brugerolle presented a group show in 2022.
