The Fulham United Reformed Church has witnessed the changing face of Fulham. Originally, it was known as Fulham Congregational Church. The church was built between 1904 and 1906, a testament to the growing community. It had its own Sunday school, attracting over 300 children at its peak, filling the local schools with joyous hymns. It was so popular they had to use a local school for its Sunday School. In 1972, it was renamed Fulham United Reformed Church when the Congregational and Presbyterian churches merged. In the 1980s the church was demolished and rebuilt on the same site, showcasing a more modern design, opening its doors in 1986. The heart of the congregation, however, remained, holding onto their rich history and their dedication to the local community.
