Two gigantic metallic pods stand before us. They gleam in the sunshine. These are the monumental sculptures known as Fruition. They mark the entrance to Royal Park and are the creation of artist Matthew Harding. Fruition was commissioned by the City of Melbourne in 2013 and has become a beloved landmark. The sculptures resemble seed pods, representing the potential for life and growth.
