It’s 1978, and the Friendship Church, nestled in the heart of Minneapolis, is just a dream. It started in a small basement, a Bible study group longing to share their faith. They met in the basement of the Scott/Rice Telephone company. The church plant began to grow, a seed of faith taking root in the community. They eventually moved to Westwood Elementary, their numbers growing and their voices getting stronger. On August 7, 1979, Friendship Church was officially registered with the State of Minnesota, a milestone marking their commitment and their vision.
