The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s Health and Social Services Department, along with the Disabled People’s Directorate (İSÖM), have poured their hearts into making Florya Özürlüler Yaz Kampı a beacon of hope. They opened the camp’s doors to individuals with disabilities and their families, creating a welcoming space for everyone. The opening ceremony itself was a spectacle. The İSÖM Show Arts Community Mehter Team filled the air with rhythmic marches. The İSÖM Music Group’s dance performance added another layer of vibrancy. Various animation shows entertained the attendees. The camp provides everything from comfortable, air-conditioned cabins with 24-hour hot water to a bustling cafeteria, a playful children’s garden, and an internet cafe.
