Four more lanes were added, thanks to the innovative “Nippon clip-ons” designed by a Japanese company. Today, thousands of vehicles, including over 1,000 buses, pulse across the Auckland Harbour Bridge daily. And yes, those daring souls do bungy jump from its heights. The bridge even offers guided climbs across its arch truss. For a quieter experience, you can simply admire the “Vector lights”. These LED lights illuminate the bridge in a kaleidoscope of colors.
