“Mix with the best.” That’s the Fever-Tree motto we’re exploring today. Fever-Tree began its journey right here in London. It is a British producer of premium drink mixers. Let’s dive into the story behind this global brand.

Fever-Tree was founded in 2004 by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow. Rolls was a gin industry expert. Warrillow was an advertising executive. They saw a need for better mixers. Premium spirits were growing in popularity. However, mixers remained neglected. Most mixers used artificial ingredients and preservatives. Rolls and Warrillow wanted something better.

Their goal was to create all-natural tonic water. It should be a premium option without artificial sweeteners. After months of work, they launched their first product in 2005. It was Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water. Selfridges and Waitrose were among the first stores to stock it.

The name Fever-Tree has an interesting origin. It comes from the cinchona tree. This tree’s bark produces quinine. Quinine was used to reduce fevers, especially malaria. In India, it was mixed with soda water and sugar. This made it more palatable and created early tonic water. The cinchona tree became known as the fever tree.

Fever-Tree grew rapidly. In 2007, it launched in the United States and Spain. By 2008, Sainsbury’s and Tesco in the UK carried Fever-Tree products. By 2011, it was one of the fastest-growing UK drinks companies. Its products were sold in 25 countries.

The company went public in 2014. It was listed on the London Stock Exchange. The IPO valued Fever-Tree at over 150 million pounds. By 2019, its market value had increased elevenfold.

Today, Fever-Tree offers a wide range of mixers. These include ginger ale, ginger beer, lemonade, and flavored tonic waters. Fever-Tree products are available in over 80 countries. The company is based in West London and manufactures its products in Somerset.

Fever-Tree sources its ingredients carefully. They search for the best natural ingredients worldwide. This commitment to quality sets Fever-Tree apart. It ensures a superior taste in every drink.

Innovation is key to Fever-Tree’s success. They continue to develop new and exciting mixers. These perfectly complement different spirits. Whether it’s tonic water for gin or cola for whiskey, Fever-Tree has a mixer for every occasion.

Fever-Tree has won many awards. These include the Drinks International Award for bestselling and top-trending mixer brand multiple times. It also won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.

Fever-Tree is more than just a mixer brand. It’s a story of passion, quality, and innovation. From its humble beginnings in London to its global presence today, Fever-Tree has transformed the world of mixers. So next time you enjoy a drink with Fever-Tree, remember the journey. It all began with a simple idea to create the best mixer possible.
