Founded in 1992, Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church stands as a testament to the power of faith in the Northside of Minneapolis. Though its humble beginnings started in the home of Gertrude Meadows, Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church has grown into a vibrant and influential church community. The walls of this church have witnessed a rich history, from its first service held in the West River Point Supper Club on December 21st, 1992, to the construction of its present home in 2003. It was through the unwavering faith of 75 “Concerned Members of Zion” that the church officially adopted its name in September 1993. Their fervent desire to create a place of healing and wholeness fuelled the church’s rapid growth. From the very beginning, the church’s mission was clear: to bring people closer to Jesus Christ and to build a strong community that embraces all. This mission continues to resonate today, manifested through events like their annual healing seminars, their commitment to youth ministry, and their dedication to serving the community.
