Imagine stepping into a space where everyone is welcome. That’s Faith Lutheran Church. This church is an intentionally inclusive community. It warmly welcomes people of every race and nationality. People of every gender and sexual identity are welcome. Age and ability are not barriers here. All are included in every aspect of church life at Faith Lutheran Church.
Faith Lutheran Church acknowledges the land it occupies. It recognizes that the church stands on the unceded ancestral home of the Coast Salish peoples. These people have reserved treaty rights to this land. The church honors the land itself. It also honors the indigenous people who are still here. They continue to honor their ancient heritage.
Each week Faith Lutheran Church offers Sunday morning worship. It starts at 9:45 am. You can attend in person or via Zoom. A livestream worship link is available online.
Faith Lutheran Church also hosts regular Zoom activities. Monday through Friday there are morning devotions at 7:00 am. These devotions last for 10 minutes. Mondays also feature Adult Education at 7:00 pm. What’s Next meetings occur on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays offer Yoga at 9:45 am. Wednesdays feature FLC Bible Study at 10:00 am. The Ruth Circle meets on the third Thursday of each month at 12:00 pm. Coffee Fellowship takes place on Fridays at 11:00 am.
Faith Lutheran Church is active in serving the wider community. The Faith Food Bank operates every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 12-2pm. It’s located in its own building in the back parking lot. The food bank distributes food for over 100 meals each time it is open. Volunteers greet and sign in shoppers. They refill shelves and carry groceries. They also sort donated clothing.
Furthermore, every Tuesday a free community meal is offered. It’s served in the Fellowship Hall from 5-6pm. Everyone is welcome to this meal. Volunteers prepare the meal. Some volunteers bring food prepared at home. After the meal, volunteers clean up until about 6:30pm.
Faith Lutheran Church isn’t just a building. It’s a community actively living its faith. It’s a place where you can find fellowship and contribute to the well-being of others.
