The curriculum spans five years. The first two years cover core subjects. After this students choose a specialization. These specializations include civil mechanical electrical and chemical engineering.
The Faculty of Engineering offers various master’s programs. These include renewable energies automation and control and telecommunication networks. A master’s project serves as the final year project. It is required for the engineering degree.
After five years of study students earn an engineering degree. This is equivalent to a master’s in engineering. The fifth year can be completed abroad. This leads to a Lebanese engineering degree and a foreign research master’s. Students can also pursue a double degree in France.
Graduates can enroll in the Order of Engineers and Architects. They can practice engineering in Lebanon or abroad. With a master’s degree they can pursue doctoral studies or teach.
Each year the Industrial Research Institute recognizes outstanding students. Graduates are highly sought after by employers. The Faculty of Engineering degree is well-recognized in Lebanon and abroad.
