What if I told you that the FACULTY OF ENGINEERING wasn’t always in Bukit Jimbaran? Our journey begins in 1968 at the bustling Sudirman Denpasar Campus. This is where the FACULTY OF ENGINEERING, part of Udayana University’s Faculty of Engineering, first took root. Back then, all its activities, from teaching to research, thrived within Denpasar’s vibrant heart. It wasn’t until the late 1980s, with the expansion of Udayana University, that the FACULTY OF ENGINEERING relocated to the serene Bukit Jimbaran Campus. In 2002, the FACULTY OF ENGINEERING achieved an impressive ‘A’ accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). A testament to its early commitment to quality education. However, by 2009, this rating shifted to a ‘B,’ a change reflecting the evolving standards of Indonesian higher education. This ‘B’ accreditation was reaffirmed in 2014, marking a period of sustained development and adaptation for the FACULTY OF ENGINEERING. Today, the FACULTY OF ENGINEERING stands as a testament to its own journey. From a bustling city center to a tranquil coastal campus, its pursuit of engineering excellence continues to shape generations of Indonesian engineers.
