Faculté de Saint-Jérôme

Tucked away at the foot of the Massif de l’Etoile, the Faculté de Saint-Jérôme isn’t just a building. It’s a vibrant hub of scientific pursuit. The Faculté de Saint-Jérôme is home to over 2,200 students and 275 from the OSU. They are guided by the wisdom of nearly 500 combined teachers, researchers, and administrative staff. The campus isn’t all lectures and labs. The Faculté de Saint-Jérôme boasts a gymnasium for sports and leisure, two student residences, a university restaurant, a cafeteria, and a library. It’s a small city within a city. Here, you’ll also find the headquarters of the Chemistry Department. Several internationally renowned research laboratories like PIIM, IM2NP, Fresnel, ISM2, LIS, ICR, MADIREL, and IMBE also call this place home. Visiting the Faculté de Saint-Jérôme? The main entrance, for vehicles and pedestrians, is open from 6:00 am to 8:30 pm. The Fresnel gate offers pedestrian access during the same hours, but vehicle access is limited to 7:30 am – 9:30 am and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. The West gate is open for pedestrians from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The campus closes early on Saturdays at 2:00 pm and remains closed all day Sunday. It’s open from 8:45 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday, and from 8:45 am to noon and then 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Fridays. The university library is well-equipped with diverse collections and helpful services. There’s even a document shuttle service if you need materials from a different library. For career guidance, the Student University Integration and Orientation Service (SUIO) has several locations across Aix and Marseille. The CROUS provides student housing and other support services.
