Wow What an entrance This is the Eventpalast Leipzig.

The Eventpalast isn’t just any building. It’s a historical monument. Erected in 1913 for the International Construction Fair it stands as the oldest fair hall on the grounds.

The Eventpalast’s design is truly unique. Its domed rotunda is inspired by the Roman Pantheon. This impressive dome boasts a 32-meter diameter and a 29-meter height. This creates an exceptional setting for sound light and laser shows.

Two two-storey wing structures flank the rotunda. One wing is the Kreisverkehr a roundabout area with various gastronomic spots. The other is the Ostflügel the Eastern Wing. This offers a different ambiance. It’s perfect for jazz concerts or satirical shows.

The Eventpalast has hosted many events. From concerts and receptions to balls and conventions it’s a versatile venue. It can hold up to 3100 people. Notable clients include Microsoft Germany and VIVA TV.

The Eventpalast’s history is fascinating. Originally a trade fair hall it was later used as a discotheque called the Volkspalast. In 2012 it was renamed to Eventpalast.
