“To God be the glory great things He has done” This phrase echoes through the history of Evangelist Crusaders Church. Founded in 1966 by Reverend Walter A Smith his wife Dr Hattie L Smith and Evangelist Dorothy Thomas it began humbly. Their first location was a mission on Plymouth Avenue in north Minneapolis. Imagine the dedication of these pioneers.
Their ministry was a beacon of hope a refuge for the lost and a training ground for future leaders. Reverend Smith an ordained minister in the Church of God in Christ established his own ministry.
