Imagine the roar of the crowd 30000 strong. That was the biggest attendance ever recorded here in June 2004. The stadium’s capacity is now a more modest 23151. But the passion remains the same.

Renovations in 2006 modernized the stadium. Now it boasts palcos four team changing rooms and even a room for anti-doping testing. There are also areas for the media and administrative offices. It’s a far cry from the original wooden stands. These were destroyed by fire in 1929.

Estadio Florencio Sola is more than just bricks and mortar. It’s a place of memories. It’s where the magic of football unfolds.
