Escuela Cientifica Basilio was founded on November 1 1917 in Buenos Aires Argentina. Two French immigrants Eugenio Portal and Blanca Aubreton de Lambert were its founders. They sought to reconnect humanity with God. They wanted to expand the spiritual knowledge of Jesus of Nazareth.

The Escuela Cientifica Basilio does not follow strict dogmas. It dedicates itself to the study of spiritual science. This is why it is called Escuela Cientifica meaning Scientific School. There are 359 Escuela Cientifica Basilio locations worldwide. They are in South America the United States Europe and Australia.

The school’s teachings revolve around 25 fundamental questions. One key question is “Who is God?” The Escuela answers that God is Harmonious Creative Energy. Spirits are God’s only creation.

Another question addresses punishment. “Does God punish us if we do not do what he commands?” The Escuela believes God does not impose commands or punishments. God is all harmony and would never punish his creations.

The Escuela Cientifica Basilio even explored the moon spiritually. In 1969 before the Apollo 11 landing three mediums from the Escuela spiritually journeyed to the Moon. This excursion was certified by a public notary. The Director General Hilario Fernandez guided them. He claimed to have abilities to perceive visual images of the spiritual world.

The mediums described a landscape. It had craters and an absence of water. They noted a vapor or dust. They saw what appeared to be glass or crystal mountains.

The Escuela Cientifica Basilio faced challenges too. In the 1950s it clashed with the Catholic Church over the nature of Jesus. Despite controversies the Escuela has persisted. It maintains its mission of spiritual assistance and exploration.
