Welcome to Escuela 330 a remarkable school in Montevideo Uruguay. This isn’t just any school. It’s a testament to thoughtful design and community spirit. Built between 2007 and 2009 it stands as a shining example of educational architecture. Designed by Pedro Barrán Casas it cost US 1137669. The ANEP the national public education administration commissioned its construction. Clerc SA the construction company brought the architect’s vision to life.
The school sits on a medium-sized plot. The architects cleverly used the land’s natural slope. They divided the courtyard into four terraces. There’s a sports field a playground a shaded area and even an amphitheatre. The building’s design cleverly adapts to this landscape. The varying levels create a human scale.
