One sunny morning in Montevideo, children’s laughter filled the air outside the Escuela 125 República Libanesa. A festival was underway. The Escuela 125 República Libanesa was alive with music, dance, and excited chatter. The festival, titled “Más allá de las palabras… festival de la expresión,” was a fundraiser for new playground equipment. Students from Levels 3, 4, and 5, along with classes from first through sixth grade, each performed unique shows. Families, neighbors, and community members gathered to enjoy the performances. The Municipio G even lent its support, providing logistical assistance and audio equipment. This festival at the Escuela 125 República Libanesa demonstrated the community’s dedication to enriching the lives of its children. The funds raised would bring new opportunities for play and learning to the school. The Escuela 125 República Libanesa, located at José María Silva 4340, operates from 8 am to 12 pm.
