Begun in a dream, Epic Life Church stands as a testament to faith. Keith Carpenter, the lead pastor, had a vision. This vision sparked the church’s journey from Minnesota to Seattle.
Epic Life Church started with a dream about sharing Christ’s message. Imagine Keith in a town. He spoke to the elderly, the homeless, and a young woman. He explained Jesus’ sacrifice. The message transformed the town. People found healing from sin and hopelessness.
Keith was already a minister in Minnesota. He loved his work. But the dream felt like a calling. God wanted him to start a new church. Keith invited others to join him. After two years of preparation, a team of ten moved to Seattle. At that time Seattle was the most unchurched city in the nation. The location on Aurora Corridor became central.
Epic Life Church opened its doors to the public on October 4, 2009. Since then, it has grown. The church has witnessed God’s love transforming North Seattle.
Epic Life Church also extends its reach through The Giving Room food bank. The Giving Room operates out of the Epic Life Church. It is located at 10510 Stone Ave N in Seattle. The food bank serves the 98133 zip code.
The Giving Room is open on Mondays from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. It offers food, friendship, and prayer. The food bank seeks to meet the physical, relational, and spiritual needs of the neighborhood. They embrace those on the margins. The mission is to bring neighbors closer to God’s heart. The motto is “Freely you have received; freely give.”
Epic Life Church is more than just a building. It’s a community. It’s a place where people can find help and hope. It is a place where faith transforms lives. This church impacts not only those who attend services. Through The Giving Room, they are improving the quality of life for the less fortunate. They are dedicated to sharing the love and teachings of Christ.
