Soon after, the congregation opened an iron chapel on London Road. By 1875, the Enfield Baptist Tabernacle was established. It was an impressive classical building made of brick and stone.

Initially, membership was for Particular Baptists. However, the church permitted open communion. A lecture hall was added to the tabernacle in 1882. In 1890, the church purchased the site of the National School for use as a Sunday school hall. The tabernacle was sold in 1925. In 1926, a plain brick church opened on Cecil Road. This new building had seating for 400 people.
