“Mazes, gardens, adventure, oh my!” That’s the spirit of the Enchanted Adventure Garden. It sits atop Arthurs Seat. This Mornington Peninsula wonderland began over 25 years ago. It was founded on the belief that adventure equals fun.
Enchanted Adventure Garden started small. It has blossomed into a world of exciting activities. These activities suit all ages. Arthurs Seat Maze officially opened in 1997. It offered curated gardens, mazes and picnic spots.
Early on, the Enchanted Adventure Garden featured a Maize Maze. Each summer, a new pattern challenged visitors. The designs included a clown, flower, pirate, and kangaroo. If guests got lost, staff used colorful flags to guide them. The Maize Maze was quite popular.
The park expanded to include sculptures and hedge topiary. The Artist in Residence program helped local artists create art. They drew inspiration from the land. Another block of bushland was purchased. This allowed for Sculpture Walks. The indoor 3D Spooky Maze and Tube Slide followed.
Ten years later, Tree Surfing courses were introduced. They furthered the vision of an eco-adventure park. These courses helped jumpstart the owner’s vision for an eco-adventure park on the Mornington Peninsula.
In recent years, a hedge maze with a viewing platform was added. Boardwalks now immerse guests in the bushland. More local sculptures also appeared. At the end of 2020, the Sky Scramble attraction opened. It is an aerial playground for kids under 135cm.
Today, Enchanted Adventure is an award-winning attraction. It is nestled in Arthurs Seat’s hinterland. It’s a place to reconnect and have fun. In 2022, the Tube Slides area expanded. Three additional slides were added. This allows more guests to enjoy the thrills.
In 2023, the MisAdventure Voyage opened. It is an interactive playground. It allows all ages to use their imagination.
Enchanted Adventure Garden offers themed gardens. These gardens change with the seasons. Marvel at the hedge topiary. Breathe in the fresh hinterland air. Discover over 20 themed gardens. Navigate three hedge mazes and a turf maze. Relax in the picnic areas.
Try the five mazes. Challenge your mind with brainteaser puzzles. Brave the Canopy Walk. Experience the giant Tube Slides. Let the little ones enjoy the Sky Scramble aerial playground.
For an adrenaline rush, try Tree Surfing. The Grand Tree Surfing Course suits adults and kids over 135cm. The Nippers Tree Surfing Course is for kids aged 4 to 12.
