Drysdale Uniting Church, formerly known as Drysdale Methodist, holds a significant place in the heart of the Bellarine Peninsula. The original church building, constructed in 1888, stands as a testament to the enduring faith of the community. In 1987, a new hall was added, further enhancing the church’s ability to serve its members and visitors. The current minister, Reverend Karen Eller, extends a warm welcome to all who wish to connect with God’s love and care. Drysdale Uniting Church is more than just a building. The church has a rich history, starting from its foundation stone being laid on May 24, 1887, by Reverend J.D. Dodgson. This building is the fourth structure to house the Wesleyan and Methodist congregation in Drysdale. Designed by A.J. Derrick in the Gothic Polychrome style, the architecture itself tells a story. Drysdale Uniting Church opens its doors every Wednesday morning from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. It offers a quiet space for personal reflection and prayer. It continues to serve as a beacon of hope and a place of connection. The Sunday service, held at 10:30 am, provides an opportunity for the community to come together in worship and fellowship.
